Cultural Heritage

In order to help Georgia overcome the political crisis and return to the path of European integration, the members of the Cultural Heritage Group of the Georgian Public Assembly are working on:

1. Promoting the protection and preservation of Georgia’s tangible and intangible cultural heritage;

2. Integrating cultural heritage policy into the country’s overall development strategy;

3. Introducing European standards and best practices in the protection and management of cultural heritage;

4. Supporting the safeguarding of cultural identity, diversity, and historical memory;

5. Raising public awareness and fostering citizen participation in cultural heritage protection as a shared national responsibility.

Any citizen of Georgia who shares the goals of the Assembly and wishes to contribute to the preservation of the country’s cultural heritage is welcome to join.
